A Flower Girl Dress for all ages. Especially suitable for junior bridesmaids.
This stunning yet simple styled dress is hand made in silk dupion and silk organza. The dress is sleeveless and has a round neck with a silk button and loop opening at the back. The skirt is made in silk organza with a layer of cotton underneath. The skirt is fully lined with layers of netting underneath and the silk organza top layer is finished with a silk trim around the hem. The sash is made from silk organza as standard but you can also order a silk sash in another colour - we can post you a colour swatch on request, see our SILK COLOUR GUIDE.
The style of this dress is perfect for all ages and makes a perfect junior bridesmaid dress, flower girl dress or communion dress. Available in white or ivory. This dress is made to order so please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. If required sooner, please contact us with your required date to ensure that have it made in time.
WHAT SIZE TO ORDER?
All of our flower girl dresses, communion dresses, page boy outfits and christening outfits are made to order so we can ensure they fit well on the big day - the big difference in buying off the peg clothes and hand made to order!
We do not offer a definitive size guide for our clothing as some styles can differ a little in width or length. Our sizing is standard for English sizing and tends to be more generous than most European brands. In all our clothing, we allow for room and ease. We recommend that you order the size that the child normally wears and if they are not a standard size for their age, you can give us measurements and we can make it to fit. There is no extra charge for this service. We are happy to advise and discuss any queries you have re sizing and fit.
The key measurements we require are:
Dresses - chest, nape of neck (base of neck at the back) to waist, nape of neck to required length of dress (below the knee, mid calf, ankle length etc)
Shirts - chest, nape of neck to hem (mid bottom), underarm to wrist
Shorts/trousers - waist, inside leg to required length ( below knee for shorts and knickerbockers, top of shoes for trousers)
Waistcoats - chest, nape of neck to below waist, underarm to below waist
Rompers - chest, nape of neck to crotch ( with nappy on)
Once we have the measurements, we can then compare them to our standard pattern sizing and adjust accordingly. If we have any doubts about the measurements provided, we will query and double check!

Returns & Replacements We offer free returns within the UK. Any item (except personalised and made to order items) can be returned within 30 days of purchase. Please contact us to request a Freepost returns label (UK only).
Original postage will not be refunded for any item returned to us.
For goods returned from outside the UK, please write on the label RETURNED UNWANTED GB MERCHANDISE to avoid duty charges. Any duty payable on receipt will be deducted from any refund due.
We offer an exchange, store credit or refund. Please return any unsuitable items in the original packaging (gift box) and with our tags with a covering note to 1 Fir Cottage, Leeds Lane, Five Ashes, TN20 6JY, UK

Bespoke Service As we design and make all our own knitting and sewing patterns, we can offer a bespoke service up to 10yrs. If you cannot find what you are looking for on our website or require a custom made fit for your child, please call or email us.
Personalised & Made to Order Items We specify making and delivery times for each of these items but if you require an item by a specific date, please let us know and we will always try our best to meet your deadline. Personalised, made to order and bespoke items cannot be returned or refunded.
Free Gift Wrap You can select free gift wrap with each purchase. We pack your order in our lilac signature gift box with tissue and ribbon at no extra cost. Gift messages can be included and purchases sent directly to the recipient. If you have purchased a sale item and want our free gift wrap, please request by email.
Delivery Even though all our clothing is handmade, we try to keep stock of every non made to order item and aim to dispatch your order within 24 hours. If we do not have the item in stock, we will email you immediately to advise you and give you an estimated delivery date, offer you an alternative item in stock or give you the option of a full refund.
